I did a search couldnt find my answer.

When boxing my feet tend to slide and not stay in place and keep being told my base is too wide by my coach. So i ordered this thing from ringside called superstance wich is supposed to keep your feet from sliding and show you how far spaced your feet should be. Only problem is I dont no how far that is. Right now I have set with my feet side by side spreaded it is no farther past my shoulders. Is this correct?

always shoulder width any more or less will affect your balance big time and your movement.

wider stance is helpful for straight punches. closer together is only better for hooks and uppercuts. it really depends on the situation.
