He seems like such a beast then you look back and see how Gegard, glover and Bader completely dominated him. he has so much potential and has beaten the shit out of some really decent guys. Do you think he can put it all together to fight for a title someday. dude is 6'4 and built like a tank with great kicks and hes starting to understand the game of distance better.

He might get a title shot but he won't win it.

Rumble, Jones, DC, Gus and Glover are all clearly better.

Wouldn't mind seeing Gus vs OSP though

GSP, RRR and RDA > OSP.

But he's still damned good.

He won't go far but should remain in the top 10. If you are basing your opinion on the Rafael Cavalcante fight forget about it. Rafael Cavalcante was the man that wasn't their, he was the man going with the flow but not the win. When OSP started limping what did Rafael do kicked him all but 3 times on that leg. Like WTF was wrong with him? He should've been targeting that leg until the final bell but he didn't. He was a man just going with the flow just looking to survive the 3 rounds. Now OSP knowing Rafael had nothing on him should've been going for the kill but he also was just cruising along to get the decision. Sorry but fighter that don't have that killer instinct to finish a fight usually never become champion. That's why OSP will never be 1 and probably never will fight for 1.

He might fall into a TS if things were to align for him in the next few years, but I'm not overly confident. I hoped for big things from him, but even being a great athlete his fight IQ has let him down a few times. Still a very good fighter, just don't think he may be championship material unless he makes some real strides.

Don't think he beats anyone top 5.

He'll remain in the 6-10 range for a couple years at least.

OSP was hurt, dude could barely walk. He's finished 6 of his last 7 victories.

What are you talking about?

Dude he fought against a guy that didn't want to fight otherwise he would've lost that fight.

OSP will never be in the top 3, but he's tough as hell.

He's definitely a notch below the elite, but he is capable of knocking anybody out

Bader didn't dominate him, he got wrestlefucked by him
Glover got dropped hard and almost finished and came back when he gassed
Mousasi handled him pretty badly but is now a MW
