All these guys are (former) champs. As a fan of both MMA and WWE I am really excited about this new direction for both disciplines and possible fusion and crossovers.

Well, since I don't watch wwe, I can't say I'm excited at all...

I watch little to no WWE so I wouldn't really care either way. It would be cool to see some of these fighters taking home good money from it though.

It surprises me how many mma fans (especially on sherdog) where WWE first. I hated WWE as a kid, to much talking not enough fighting. I loved 70s Kung Fu movies though so I can understand liking things other people think are totally corny/retarded.
*EDIT
Also I haven't ever watched a Ric Flair fight but I have watched all the his promos on youtube, love that guy.

The opposite of excited.

It's been going on for years...many MMA stars have also participated in various pre-wrestling orgs. Tank Abbott, Dan Severn, Don Frye, Ken Shamrock, Kevin Randleman, Mark Coleman, Saku, Funaki, et. al.

Hulk Hogan has always claimed the UFC was interested in his vs. Randy. I would still like to see it. And Paul Dalye vs. HBK would be cool. Maybe Mike Perry vs. BM Punk

I'm cool with fighters wrestling. Not so cool with wrestlers fighting.

Meh.

I mean, it would be cool to see a guy like DC do a thing for WWE because he would bring the enthusiasm and skills. Apart from that, the crossovers don't rly do it for me. Cross-dressers on the other hand...

Don't get me started on cross-dressers bro

i'd be happy if we could see DC beating the shit of these 2 morons that talked shit to him, i'm sure he'd beat both under 5 minutes with no break

This shit only degrades the already sketchy appearance of the UFC in the mind of the mainstream/very casual.

“ Oh, you mean that Ronda girl was undefeated, got knocked out twice in a row. And is wrestling now. Gotcha “

Like that fuckin joke boxing exhibition.

It’s not a good look. I doubt many of you will see the big picture. Or, by the time you do, it will already be too late. Exactly, how I was predicting the affects of Conor 3 yrs ago.

The Undertaker would gogo Stipe with the first minute<21>

No harm in it. Guys like Lesnar can genereate a lot of interest when they cross over, and that’s not a bad thing.

I'm a fan of both, but I rather not see it happen unless said crossover is long term. I don't like seeing my wrestling cater to one performer for brief flashes just to get a paycheck and disappear again. Looking at Brock in WWE now and Punk in UFC
