Rankings and contenders don't matter. Dana is all about the short term "money fight". It's a shitty trend, right now.

She does deserve it. She was the face of WMMA and there very might not be any WMMA in the UFC if it wasn't for her. She deserves a chance to win the belt back that she carried for so long. Or get her ass kicked trying to.

Now that Conor has taken a step back, they have to drive their business. it sucks for Holly, but you gotta keep making the money fights or you'll go the way of Pride/Affliction etc.
 
UFC is just worried about money. Rousey vs Tate is still the biggest fight to make at this point for 135 pounds since Tate has the belt now and Ronda is still the biggest female star. It's not the right fight, but it's the one that makes the company the most money. They probably gonna doe Nunes vs Holm in a title elminator in the same card.

Ronda won six consecutive title fights in the UFC, combined with the two from Strikeforce to make eight consecutive title fight wins. Plus, she's one of the biggest stars in the UFC.

Holly never defended her title. Also, Holly was not dominating her fight, she was winning a decision by an incredibly narrow margin when she was finished. What's more, the second round was almost certainly a 10-8 round where she mounted zero offence, the fight was arguably a tie until the finish.

Holm got caught, Rousey got dominated.

Anyway, I think Holm vs Miesha 2 would sell much more than Rousey vs Miesha 3. Also, funny how Rousey is suddenly willing to come back when two days ago her manager told reporters they were not allowed to ask her about fighting or she would walk out of the interview.

If you really think the second round was 10-8 that means to things:

1. You probably believe Hendricks beat GSP under the scoring system.
2. You should only watch on mute.

I swear when Rogan said something about 10-8 (in a round in which Tate did almost no damage) I said to my wife, omg these retards on sherdog are never gonna stop going on about that "10-8 round". It was the furthest thing from 10-8, my friend.
 
Tate winning was the best thing that could have ever happened for Rousey
 
Amanda Nunes is the only one who "deserves" it. but it will be Ronda so in sense she would beat Tate and then RR vs HH 2 is going down both in 2016

I don't think it was a 10-8 round, I know it was. Meisha took her down and held a dominant position for four and a half minutes of a five minute round and almost finished her. Holly mounted absolutely no offense. It was the definition of 10-8.

A round is to be scored as a 10-8 Round when a contestant overwhelmingly dominates by striking or grappling in a round.​

The round was 100% Meisha. How is that not a 10-8?

Are you saying a round where one fighter mounts exactly zero offense isn't a 10-8 for the other fighter, who almost gets the finish?
