Agreed...everybody focuses on some intricate gameplan because Thompson is supposed to be some undefeated kickboxer or something.
If you have the reach, the toughness...just rush him and clinch...soften him up with knees .....punch him in the FACE

The DC/Cain gameplan. Constant forward pressure aggression with a heavy wrestling based attack. You cant give that dude space and time to get off. Hes also weakest in wrestling.

Leg kicks, body shots, and grappling. His wide stance is very susceptible to leg kicks, limit his movement and he will be much easier to catch and take down.

Rory is actually a very tough match up for him. Him and Maia are the toughest in the division.
