He's ripped his knee up like a bazillion times. I just watched his fight vs TJ Dillashaw and holy shit he looks he's in the Matrix. He's just so good. He's clearly P4P #1 right now. Jesus.

But the way he moves with angles and agility puts so much stress on his knees. You can see why he's tearing them up all the time. After all those injuries, how is he still mentally capable of moving around like that without fear?

I talked to Dom yesterday, and he says that he just pretends that theres an Alpha Fail manlet trying to hug him and so he swerves around like he's dodging rain drops because his flow so smoove

He has so many nut huggers that he's formed a prehensile third limb out of them that can be used for balance.

The guy is a beast no doubt. His win over Dillashaw after the layoff was outstanding.

Dom Cruz is a special human being. The heart and relentlessness to overcome adversity he has shown the past 4 years is unmatched by anybody.

After Urijah puts him to sleep in their rubber match I predict twinkle-toes Dom goes on to win it all on Dancing With The Stars.

He will do what Paige fell short attempting. Because Cruz is a boss.

Some are just that mentally strong. Shit I fucked up my achilles tendon on my right foot so I have tendonitis; if I stress it too much it swells and hurts like shit to walk. That alone already makes me hesitant to do physical activities that are too tasking on my tendon.

Nice thread. I think it's just will to fight and mental strength.
Cruz doesn't lack that. At all.

But... he is #2 p4p. The number 1 spot belongs to Demetrious Johnson.

he is very talented and skilled, but clearly p4p TS?. there seems to be a new p4p fighter every week on here.

A-level mentality.

Most MMA fighters have C-level mentality that manifests itself as depression and self doubt amongst other things, and that's why they are never the same after a bad loss or long-term inactivity.

He's a fighter (edit: in every sense of the word, not just professionally), and even among fighters his strong mentality stands out. There's not really much else that can or needs to be said about it.

Sure, his movement may not be the best for his knees but now they are bionically repaired :p

& his first ACL was accumulation of a minor tear earlier in his career that he just never took care of. So it got worse & worse as he ignored it & then...well you know what happened.

I've blown my knee out. Either it comes back or it doesn't. If he's good with it. I'd suggest you take his word for it ???

Well considering he's eeking out decisions moving as well as he does, I'd say standing still would be almost certain disaster

He got some pretty high tech surgeries/procedures. I remember he said his knee were essentially "rebuilt"
