How does Dana White get away with being so unprofessional sometimes?

Dana should be kept out of television...or not. Sometimes it's funny as hell to listen to his rants, but most of the time he's just a damn idiot with anger management issues and says stuff that nobody should ever say out loud if not at some Hill Billy convention or something
 
given all the bs that happens in the ufc I don't think hes doing too bad, If I owned the ufc I would let him keep doing what hes doing
 
because people would rather see an unprofessional guy who's honest, than a professional guy who lies all the time.

Exactly.

I for one like that unconventional aspect of UFC, it makes it seem more passionate and authentic to me.

I think a lot of the people who dislike this aspect, and want reckognition for MMA as a typical sport, are people who feel insecure and are afraid that people will think of them as brute dumbasses for watching fighters fight in a cage.
If you risk appearing that way for watching MMA, it's not just for watching MMA, no offence meant, just keepin' it real.
 
Dude's a successful millionaire, you have to be a little crazy to get the status he has IMO.

Define professional. If Bob Arum is a professional, then I don't want Dana to be one.

Dana lies about small things that don't really hurt us. He doesn't hide huge things thst could get him in big trouble.
 
Not that hard to figure out really. First off, he's the President of the UFC and owns 9% of it, so no one in the UFC can tell him shit. His bosses, Frank and Lorenzo are his best friends and like money. As long as Dana continues to make them money, they aren't going to say shit. Same deal with Fox. If he makes them money, they will let him do his thing.

On topic, because UFC is more entertainment than sport and doesn't try to act like it's not.
 
Swearing doesn't mean unprofessional. Believe me the biggest CEOs and leaders swear all the time. Dana just isn't afraid to do it in front of the camera.

Dana is probably among the most professional boss's in all sports.

So I'd just say that the OP is just another whiny bitch, pissing and moaning about what other people do/say and for some fucking reason actually thinks people care about his opinion of another person. You seriously have to be partially retarded to worry about what other people are doing unless it has some kind of real negative effect on society... and no dana white swearing and talking down on people doesn't hurt anyone.
