How does D&S feel about a half-GOMAD diet?

Sounds like a good plan to me. I use myfitnesspal to log my calories, and I use a food scale constantly. I highly recommend both.

I hope you're not using CrossFit as your strength and conditioning regimen for BJJ. My girlfriend loves it, but it has a high injury rate, and you'd be better served training for strength if your sport is BJJ. The FAQ in S&C explains it a lot better than I could.

I've basically been a bum for the past few years so crossfit is the only thing I've been doing and I've only been at it a month. I'd like to get back into BJJ once I'm actually in shape again.

Ah, I see. Be very careful with CrossFit. It has an extremely high injury rate. If I were you, I'd join a regular gym, lift for strength, and do some cardio. Not trying to force you to do anything, of course; I'm just saying.
