Cain should feel dumb a like a bad friend for keeping DC out of the UFC's HW division for this long when he clearly could've been undisputed champ for a while (as opposed to being the LHW who can beat everyone not named Jon Jones).

Even if he wants to run up the mountain again, DC has said he wants to retire at 40. Which is really soon. So he gets his brock fight which Cain has already had, then he gets to retire on a fat pay cheque and cain comes back into the picture. Basically all in less than a year, just give cain a ranked fighter to fight and it's fine.

cain has already accomplished the ultimate in mma. to be honest, he's probably not very motivated at the moment, which is maybe why he's cool with dc going for the heavyweight belt and winning it.
