How do you think Robert Whittaker would do at LHW

Bobby is a former WW decent sized MW. James Vick is 6'3 but I dont see him going up to MW

Have you seen the way Whittaker looks at 215lbs? he is solid as fuck. He says he gets up to 233lbs. Jones only weighs like 225 tops in the cage according to the CSAC. I don't see the huge size difference that people are talking about.

He's 1/4 samoan I believe. That pretty much guarantees by default that he is built solid.

I think he would do ok, but LHW won't be stagnant forever. Considering that the Reaper moved to MW from WW, I think he will eventually have some issues by way of being too small.

The rational response is that he wouldn't do well, considering the size disadvantage he'd be at. Whittaker isn't a big MW as is, so a 20 pound jump up would be substantial.

However, since LHW is garbage, he'd probably be top 5.

He gives up 6 inches in height and about 10 inches of reach to guys like Jones and Walker. I think someone like Gus would beat him too.

Rumble is 3 inches taller and 6 inches more reach. These things make a difference. I am not saying that Whittaker wont do well at LHW just saying his size is a limitation there. BTW Rumble was killing himself to make 170.

Well, those are the biggest guys in the division. Not everyone is as tall and lanky as those three. Just because he's not 6'5 with an 84 inch reach doesn't mean he couldn't be a decent sized LHW.

Vick is 6 inches taller than other lightweights like Conor, Lee, Eddie Hernandez, Al etc etc, does that mean they're all smallLightweights?

He has a better shot at Jones than almost anyone else at LHW. But why move when his undefeated at MW? Still if he has a good run and beats Izzy and the others and Jones is still LHW king then why not go for a superfight? Nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Lhw is terrible now but Rockhold is a toss.... Jones and Walker would beat him imo. He can beat the rest.

How'd those work out? I seem to remember him getting rag dolled by a slightly less fat 5"11 DC lol. Runble has the frame and the power to fight those guys, Robert isn't 1pko artist like Rumble is. I dont see him one shotting gus.

So you want him to cut 10 lbs to fight at 205? Why do you think he used to fight at WW? I'm sure if he and his camp thought 205 was his division he'd fight in it. No way at all Jones is walking around less than 230 the height reach and skill disparity would be a short night for Robert and I say that as a huge fan of his.

I've never seen anything his his so far outstanding career to suggest he has some sort of special skill or ability that would make him competitive against jones.
