armpit to knuckle or fingertip to fingertip, armpit to knuckle is the true measure of reach. fingertip to fingertip is truly just wingspan but it is the most often use measure.

Yea they do armpit to fist in boxing now but in UFC it's still fingertip to fingertip. Armpit to fist is a lot more practical.
