Get on against the #5 ranked fighters in the above weight division?

Even though this is clearly inspired by Conor's last fight related I'd rather we just discussed how the current champ's would fair going up and doing the same (although not quite the same because of the late notice and fight being at 170) as there is enough Conor bashing/excusing threads going on as it is.

So who wins?

Joanna vs Julianna Pena

MM vs Aljamain Sterling

Cruz vs Lamas

Since we know how McGregor vs Diaz went how about Aldo vs Diaz

RDA vs Hendriks

Lawler vs Machida

Rockhold vs Bader

Cormier/Jones vs JDS

Nate is way too big for Aldo and would light him up with his reach. Although it would be interesting if Aldo used kicks like RDA did.

Machida doesn't have the movement anymore, Lawler would catch him eventually.

Rockhold at 205 would be interesting, as would Jones at HWT.

Not sure, but none of those guys are talking shit about taking over other weight classes and disrespecting their opponents the way McGregor does.
 
Dc or jones wreck jds. See Herman Velasquez fight for example.

Even when your hater dreams come true you still can't help yourself, why not just get involved in a thread that isn't about how much you hate Conor instead of trying to turn it into every other 2nd thread on Sherdog

Man he brought that shit upon himself. The guy ran his mouth for 2 years, and finally fell on his face, and you expect what? For people to be humble, and cut him a break, when he wasn't humble or respectful towards anyone, and whored himself just to grab all the money he can?

I can respect the guy as a decent fighter, but you reap what you sow.
 
Joanna vs Pena is unfair, that's 2 weight classes.

Meesh already beat the number 2 145er and might well beat Cyborg though. Female Frankie Edgar there.

As for the rest, Mouse beats Sterling, Rockhold beats Bader easy, and Jones/Cormier has a good shot of beating current JDS. Cruz might win too.

I don't care, this thread is not about Conor, it's about the other champs, you have made it clear what you think, you don't need to try to turn every thread into a Conor bashing thread.

I agree with most of your post, but as much as I like Tate, she doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell vs Cyborg.

Agree to disagree I guess, I think Tate pulls a Bendo-Thatch. Probably takes longer though.

Kind of feel like making a snide comment for TS that Mouse, Tate, Cruz, Rockhold, and Jones/Cormier can all wrestle lol.

Joanna and Julianna are actually two weight classes apart. Julianna likely throws her around.

MM is the favourite over Sterling.

Cruz is the favourite Lamas.

Aldo is the favourite Diaz.

RDA and Hendricks is a 50/50 fight.

Lawler and Machida is around a 50/50 fight.

Rockhold is a favourite vs Bader.

Cormier/Jones are both favourites against the current version of JDS.
