Obiviously not just talking about Lumpini or Rajadamnern, but would the minor stadiums in Thailand have its own belt you can fight for? And how many times would you need to defend before you can keep the belt?

For instance I hear that Bangla Title would need to be defended 7 times, before you can take the belt home. Sounds excessive, though an easier way would just to give them 15,000 bath after winning it.

Lol I thought every fight at Bangla was for the Bangla title

Speaking for the main stadiums there is no such thing as win a certain amount of times you get to keep the belt. If you win a stadium title and want a belt, then you order one from the belt maker who makes a belt with your name what title it is and what day you won and you pay for it yourself. If you don't want to pay you don't have a belt!

So your saying that no one keeps a major belt? All the lumpini belts in the hanging at the gym, were all brought from the factory after they won it?

I think he means once you become stadium champion you can buy a belt that you can keep.

if you want a belt you have to buy it, the belt that they get put around the waist in title fight gets given back to the stadium straight after the fight, up to the fighter if they decide to have one made, which they have to pay for themselves

Doesn't seem fair tbh. If they earned the belt they should be given it.

So who pays for it, the stadium or the promoter? The promoter already has to pay sanctioning fee to the stadium to put the title fight on. Probably not that fair, but that's how it works here

If they paid for the belt the fight purse would probably be smaller so it evens out anyway.

How much does a belt cost? 10000 baht?

If I went to Thailand could I order a Lumpinee title with the name SuperLuigi Sherdoggym and get one just like the real champs?

The Lumpini, Raja ones are around 5000, Wmc wpmf ones a bit over 10000
