hi what is the best way to clean and get rid of smell out of my elastic shinguards and boxing gloves?

if they are cloth shin guards you can just wash them, for the boxing gloves you can spray the inside with Febreze anti-bacterial.

It is much easier to PREVENT the smell than to get rid of it.
Always let your gear dry out. Don't put it in a bag in the trunk of your car or closet after training.

Spray it with Oust, Lysol etc after training and allow to dry.

You can try putting them in a plastic bag in the freezer for a day.
That kills the funk growing in them.

I agree, always air your gear out after training.

Doesn't that fuck up the leather if you put it in the freezer? Sort of counter productive.

Freezing the leather won't ruin a glove if you let it thaw out before bending it.
Also it is only for extreme cases.

When your gear stinks it is because things are LIVING IN IT.

after i get back from the gym i stand my gloves on top of a little fan i have to dry them out
