How do I build a ramp with bricks and crushed rock???

Like where the ramp gets thin it'll break easy but not if there's 4 or 5 inches of depth to it.

Use a piece of wood or a shovel to tamp it down and get rid of air gaps. A mix of 4/3/1 or something, rubble, sand, concrete should suffice that would be pretty strong.

I own my Uncle in law's snowblower but own my own push lawnmower

Gas powered mower is upper class. Most of the world is still scything. As for the ramp Id forget about the bricks and just do a concrete thing. Good luck.

Buy some rib bars, wire, washed sand, gravel, portland cement, straight edges, a long level, chalk line, trowels, measuring tape, a disposable bin, a bucket, and some Clippy brews.

Of you're really into bricks just build the overlapping wall to the ramp first. Not on to bare earth. A 4-6 inch concrete foundation would be fine. Then in fill with rubble, sand, concrete and water. You can mix the concrete in a bucket and chuck over the rubble in place.

Brick side is likely over kill. I'd just pack some earth up to the side and sow with grass seed or whatever you got goimg on their already.

But then bricks are cool so..

Bucket, cement, sand, trowel or shovel. This ain't precision engineering, the eye should be fine. A level is always useful tho .

Come on bro this is Clippy we are helping out

you need to buy three plastic shovels and a bucket and they all got to be tie dyed because its the coolest and you need a handful of sand so you can judge the wind and you need baby carrots in a bag and a mom who loves you but my buddy jefferey doesn't have some of those things and people think he's weird and nobody wants him to join the soccer team and Ms Kugel said Tolstoy wanted people to be happy because they're different but nobody likes Ms Kugel because she got a divorce with her boyfriend and she always smells like cigarettes

You need that emotional support for sure

Did that ramp build itself yet? :)

Ok, you have the old crap out of there and it looks like there’s still a little crush left. Forget the bricks. Build a form and buy some Quikrete. It looks like a few bags should be enough. Build your form on 3 sides, stake it for support, mix the concrete in a wheelbarrow, pour it in and trowel it level and give it a finish, like a brush finish or whatever.

You’re welcome.

Oh, put a little crush down first. Even a grid of rebar wouldn’t hurt.

Edit: I see the crush is in. Take the bricks out. Build the form with 2x4s and 2x6s. Didn’t see the after pic clearly before.

@Clippy is in Canada. When the ground freezes it can lift a concrete slab up possibly high enough to block the shed door. Best to just leave it gravel.
