How do guys like Kit Harington end up playing hero types?

It's because women and manlets and fatasses and other unathletic non masculine types are doing the casting and there is a war on real manliness from people like that.

Chris Hemsworth is about as manly as Hollyweird let's them get. And he's not really that manly, most blue collar American jobs have several dudes who would make him look like a child.

I think small people are just generally more charismatic. Why else would Hollywood be full of manlets?

He has great acting and has leadership vibes. He's also legit with a sword. On one of the behind-the-scenes look at the battle at the wall (season 4) someone in production commented on how someone else thought his sword work was sped up for camera. It wasn't. They were surprised by how fast he was. Same thing with Battle of the Bastards. He's legit in a battle.

Harington could easily be cast in a Star Wars movie and do all the light saber stuff.

Tom Cruise, Stalone, Daniel Craig, Van Damme, Mel Gibson, Jackie Jan

the list of short action movies heros are long, they just do well in the screen.

Erm i liked it
But it was probably just because I’m a GOT nerd and was supporting my boy

Should have guessed, you certainly look like a nerd... Honestly, he probably does better in a suit than in a gladiator costume. Dude has solid abs, but arms of a child.

My abs > kits abs
And I ain’t on that photoshop or makeup hype either!
He’s got me on hair though
That beautiful bastard

Girls at my job think he is attractive. His face works well in close-ups and he's believable as a well-intentioned, young leader trying his best under pressure. He comes across as both noble and vulnerable and chicks dig that, I guess.

He's a decent enough leading man, imo, you don't need a great actor playing the hero - just someone the audience can desire/identify with. Put good actors around him and voila.

My grandma could beat this dude ass
Are you a fan of rocky? Are you aware of Sylvester Stallone's size url?

Don't look up any of the avenger actors heights irl lol.

Christ the guy who plays hulk is 1 inch taller than kit. And I dwarf iron man and I'm not particularly tall

no romo, but i think there's just a ton of handsome, shorter guys

like the taller you get, the more stretched out your features get (generally), i mean there's not a whole lot of male sex symbols that play in the NBA for instance. Most tall guys don't look like young Dolph Lundgren and shit

that and as someone said, it's easier to block shots/setup work when the actors aren't a foot apart in height

This day and age you have to use small guys gay people blacks pretty much anything other than a tall white guy. I can't believe thor exists really

Dude has zero charisma or acting ability, I assume it involves social media followers.

TS, If you cast an Arnold like lead the universe of bad dudes who can look like an imposing threat to him is very limited.

Jason Borne can look badass by beating up all sorts of bigger, tougher looking guys because everyone is bigger and tougher looking.
