It was not that he didn't survive.
It is how he fell (over his leg). So it took extra time to get up, and by then Matt hit him once more.
 
No idea how he survived it, but it goes to show how durable he was.

The guy had 30+ fights before he finally lost. And Shertard's want to act like Fedor isn't the HW GOAT.
 
By staying relaxed and breathing out at the right time knowing how to brace for the impact

Most fighters would have been tense resulting in a broken neck or even paralization

This is why fedor is GOAT

Why did he fall? No way he’s dropped off a jab in his heyday
 
I fell off a 12 foot ladder from basically the top and survived. I'l say it' because I trained TKD and knew to brace for the landing.

Note he doesn' try and catch himself. He let' his body absorb the impact.
 
That dude could maintain his computer I sure no matter how ticked he was.
