Most patio shades are like this

You anchor the shade and it drops down. It’s not portable and doesn’t cover the backyard. Why not have a electric portable shade
On wheels that opens upward and goes really high, covering up all the light coming into the backyard. It can be called poritsbke tre

As usual, Simpsons did it

LMAO, that would never work, especially for it to be portable and 59’ lol. Can you imagine someone trying to put up a barrier that high? That shit would stick out like a sore thumb and imagine it tipping over crashing down on a home. Plant some fast growing tress instead. Various cypress tress can have good privacy coverage. Italian Cypress lined up around the perimeter can look nice, but they will take decades to reach a good height. I have no rear neighbors and luckily the city trees behind my fence can grow pretty high. Some trees in my neighborhood that were planted what I'm guessing 5-6 years before ours are over 30' tall. I believe they have the potential to grow 40-50'.

Imagine having a "yard" with fake grass.

Look all u wind idiots u can tie it down and weigh it down

If you're in need of that much shade, just build your house to fill the entire footprint of the lot and/or stay indoors.

Dude the wind around here is hard af to tie down . I tried because I was putting up a tent and the wind was being a dick and even after stern warnings it’s continued to be a jerk to me and it went through the rope
