How come Boxers always make weight?

They don’t. Just last night on the super Flyweight card in Cali one of the fighters missed by 3 lbs

Oh they do. This guy has been one of them.

What is the main reason we dont hear about many missed weight cuts in Boxing?

The last one I remember was that Gervonta Davis dude, but he missed by like 2 pounds.

Are MMA fighters just not as professional? Are there not enough weight classes in MMA?
More weight classes in boxing so boxers tend to fight at a weight that is ideal for them to cut weight to

Much more practicing. Most pro boxers have at least 50 to 100 ammy fights (or more) before they go pro. That's a whole lot of practice with weight cutting and getting to know what your body is capable of. Lot of MMA fighters have just a few ammy fights then go pro. If you're really good or lucky, you can find yourself in the UFC with less than ten fights under your belt.
You don’t really cut much weight in amateur fights though.

A lot more weight classes and fighters don't cut nearly as much weight on average. A lot of fighters actually fight above their natural weight like May, Pac, Oscar, etc.

More classes, no clinching wrestling grappling for weight to be an issue

MMA requires and rewards much better athletes than what boxing requires.

don't cut much weight
and it's an actual sport and the fighters are professionals

these guys in mma just come from the streets

I find it funny how many boxing Fanboys/MMA haters frequent an MMA forum.lol

Boxing coaches and trainers are much more skilled at identifying and helping boxers find their ideal weight class and cut weight.

That it is say, most MMA trainers, nutritionists, coaches, publicists, agents, etc are completely winging it and fairly inept at all their jobs. Hence you have MMA figthers missing weight, unable to leverage their identities into real income, investing in failing gyms, talking reckless on instagram daily, and basically under utilizing their potential and missing out on opportunities to monetize whatever level of celebrity they have.

Bull fucking shit. Boxers cut far less weight. Simple as that.

because boxers never used to cut anywhere near the amount of weight that mma fighters do.

Two words: Diego Coralles.

And here’s why they don’t cut as much: there’s a weight class every couple of lbs. So it’s easier for them to maximize their weight cuts because they can easily make one of the 50,000 weight classes in n boxing. Whereas in MMA, if a guy like Till can’t make 170, he has to fight at 185. In boxing, there would be the LHW division at 175 he could fight in if he couldn’t make Super MW at 168.

More weight classes. Also I think they have to be within a certain percentage of the weight they’re fighting at in the month build up to the fight

Lol at the guys saying boxers have more practice cutting weight because of their amatura fight. Most MMA fighters have wrestled through high school and alot in college and cut weight on a weekly basis.

It's as simple as the fact that they more weight classes in boxing.

Because pro boxers are much more professional and are actual athletes, unlike MMA which is filled with C level cans who can’t be bothered to make weight

Lol nice one troll. You must really not have a life to be spending your time on forums for sports you don't even like.
