How can anyone judge anything off of the Lawler and RDA fight.

RDA looked good , he was on point for sure but Lawler suffered a major Injury and left him pretty much on the defensive , RDA could not finish a one legged Lawler.. says a lot. And a lot of his success came as a result of the injury in the fight.( ground top position , and weak takedowns, combos along the fence)

And for lawler who knows what or how the fight could of gone like if he hadn't damaged his knee..Lawler is a guy who comes on stronger as the fight goes on and with 3 round's left he could very well have stopped RDA or won the remaining rounds without the injury..look at the McDonald's fights or Hendrick fights..

So why /how can people judge either fighter and say RDA is a world beater because he decisoned a one legged lawler and that lawler is shit because he was injured? ?

I don't get it..this fight was not a true contest unfortunately and RDA did win not saying he didn't but I don't see how people miss the fact or don't factor in the injury when talking about the fallout? ..

I'tll tell you how.

After watching Lawler get outclassed for 25 minutes in every facet of MMA.

He was injured?? You ever tried stopping takedowns, or grappling off your back with a bum knee? Have you ever tried to throw proper punches with one leg .. yeah.. outclassed ..your a moron who has never trained or fought before

that is truly disturbing. post those is birmingham or Chancellorsville and you could prob get on Fox News to show in on TV as part of the homosexual liberal crusade against Christmas.

Has there been any info on what exactly the injury was?

He didn't seem to want to talk about it at the post fight press conference, besides acknowledging there was an issue with his leg.

simple. don't assign a major game changing criteria to every single fucking fight.

it was a fight. between two hard pipe hitting mofo's. one of them won. it doesn't make Lawler bad, or RDA a legend.

Lawler is getting old. he may come back again and do great again. like he did about 5 years ago. odds are against it, but he may. if he doesn't, he still had a great career.

start judging this shit across years or decades, not rounds or weeks.

if you're a new fan, go back and learn about how Lawler left UFC, did well elsewhere, came back, and against long odds became a champ again.

Dude just get used to it. People want to make massive assumptions and create faux-answers to questions that have no merit after every card.

It's like every fight card answers every questions that has never been asked. People want to add meaning to something that just isn't there. Its life and this sport is part of it. Just don't listen to them if you don't agree because no one is looking to change their own mind.

Yes, yes, and oh-god-yes.

RDA was already a great fighter and ex champion.

The only question was if he was going to get past another great fighter and ex champion in a probable number 1 contender fight.

He did.

The specifics of it don't matter that match. Robbie might have been injured, past prime or whatever.

Cliché I Know but...

HE WAS THE BETTER MAN THAT NIGHT

Everything else is just bandwagon jumper-ons, ex-doubters jumping ship.

I Picked RDA and wanted him to win, and I'm happy with the performance and result.

Haters get a grip

When MMA fans can learn to accept fights and fighters for what and who they really are, the better off we'll all be
