How can Conor fight winner of Aldo/Edgar at UFC 201/202?

Dana has stated that Conor will fight the winner of Aldo/Edgar at the recent press conference. How the hell does it make sense for him to fight at UFC 201/202 then? Barring the winner of Aldo/Edgar doesn't have an extended medical suspension, I don't see the fight happening until at least 204 in October. So will Conor take a LW/WW fight at 201 or will he wait it out and fight for the FW title.
