The hate that Mcgregor is getting makes no sense. Mcgregor lost but he without a doubt changed the game:
How many time have people talked about super fights and moving up weight classes? Mcgregor opened the door for that and watch it become common-place now. Also I was watching the Unstoppable press conference and everyone was trying to talk shit like him! It was almost corny how much they tried to copy his style. He changed the presentation of the sport so everyone should be grateful lol.
Also I hear everyone comparing Conor to Rousey with his fall from grace so to speak, but how can you compare these two? Their situations are completely different. Rousey was petty and unlikeable, but Mcgregor always showed good sportsmanship. When he won he gave his opponents props and did the same when he lost. When Rousey won she was petty and held a girly grudge and when she lost she went into a zombie bunker for a month like it was the apocalypse and proceeded to go crazy! I get Conor talked smack but it was hilarious and its a fight for Christs sake! Also when he won it was over.
Can someone please shed some light on this for me?
 
Calling people pussies, cowards, and bums may have had something to do with it.

He gave them props for the 5 minute period after he won his fights because he was out of character and full of genuine emotions. After that they were pussies, cowards, and bums. Enough with the "gracious in victory" lie.
 
It's what haters do, can't be considered a success in MMA unless you have a legion of haters.

Im about tired of hearing that "changed the game" bullshit myself. He talks rehearsed shit like Chael and Tito did, tries to fight like Andy, and cuts weight like rumble used to. He got noticed because the UFC wanted yet another fan base. Irish. He's a good fighter for a tin man.
 
I enjoy his fights, but could do without the legions of nuthuggers. He still has much left to prove at any weight class. Fans that can't see that are blinded by obsession or hatred.
 
Some of them are so gotten to by their fans that they take it out on the fighter themselves,and cant make the distinction. Some people just dont like him,oh well....Some of y'all need a hug though. For real.
 
He is definitely in that select few if not the only one person who turns his own predictions true, or tries to at least, even though it bit him in the Nate fight.

BJ Penn been moving up in weight, it changed nothing when it came to his status.

He got manhandled at 170 and went back down to 155 to still thrash people.

Regardless, I respect the people that care more about testing themselves then their win-loss record.

It won't hurt McGregor just like it didn't hurt BJ
