Granted he will get paid through the nose and then some, but a new boss is coming to town, one that isnt a childhood friend and one that likes being very low key

Will he keep his position ? Will it be at a diminished capacity ? Whats goinf through his head ?

Dana has more than enough money, he can always just retire and live comfortably for the rest of his life.

Apparently this new boss hates snow...

I assume that new ownership would bring their own guy in to run things.

Money is never going to be an issue for him

But he loves the power and publicity that comes with being the pres

Could he start his own promotion if he is let go ? Or would there be a non compete clause if he is in fact, let go

I must have missed something I guess... what the hell are you talking about?

However, I doubt Dana gives two fucks about anything you've just said, considering the guy is a multi multi millionaire.

How strange it might sound to us (hardcore MMA fans who know when he is bullshitting), Dana is actually doing a GREAT job of promoting UFC imo. His bullshit sells.. and we are buying great cards anyway, no matter how much bullshit Dana says.

I would keep Dana, even though i really dislike him as a person (as far as i know). It's business.

He's gonna make 300 million dollars if this deal goes through. I bet he's welcoming our Chinese overlords with open arms, even if they're just gonna kick him out the door.

He will be the first thing they replace.

Yeah sure he must be shitting his pants really bad as he is gonna bank a third of a billion dollars if the deal is made... :)

This thread belongs at the middle school lunch table...

Do you REALLY think he doesn't understand business at this point?

He's financially set, I also see him possibly trying to get another gig with a different org, I'm sure there are organizations out there that would snatch him up in a heart beat. The question is could anyone afford his services.

Dana White is the UFC. It would be foolish to replace him. Why try and fix something that isn't broken. It might need tinkering, but it doesn't need fixing. I dread some fool coming in with all these ideas and changing too much sh!t for the worse.
