They are so gross and disgusting in powder. I think you are just better off paying 3x more and get them in capsule form.

If you can get it unflavored, mix it with your preferred drink of choice... diet soda, protein shakes, etc

Personally I take it to the dome and drink it down with diet soda, for some reason when I stir/mix it in a cup, it doesn't break down well and bits get stuck on the bottom of my glass.

I'm referring to Creatine, I haven't taken beta in years. Those I recall are unflavored.

Powder is better bang for buck though.

Serious question. Creatine 8 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Repeat. Is this true?

Why?
5g a day everyday, no need for loading. Is there any reason why 8 on 2 off was recommend where you heard it?

I've heard that too, but no explanation why. I just stay on it.

GNC guy said it lol. I have no idea why. He said load 3 times a day for the first 5 days. It also says to load on the box. Should I bother with loading? I'm on the second day with 3 scoops per day now. The box does not say 8 weeks on 2 weeks off. I have no idea why he said that.

I've heard the load is to take the effect ASAP and to saturate the muscles right shortly, but with 5g daily you'll achieve it within a few weeks or a month. I did it that way, I didn't do the loading procedure.

It was recommended long time ago, but these days with more research it turns out loading isn't required.

Ya i'm doing loading only because I need to saturate my muscles faster.

So creatine 1 scoop daily for 8 weeks and then 2 weeks off..... or just stay on?

If you want, is there a reason you want to saturate or to look full? If you're already looking full, there's no need to cycle off, just stay on it.

Mainly want to get the added benefits for performance. I don't really want the puffy look nor care for it much.

optimum nutrition puts on their directions, specifically to not take with carbonated beverages. I am guessing you have never noticed that to be an issue? I never took the time to try and find any science behind it, just kind of quit drinking pop anyhow.

I haven't used ON for Creatine so this is the first time I've heard of it. So far I haven't had any issues, I started taking Creatine since mid November. The other brands I've used, never had that mentioned in the instructions or description. I'll give it a look as to why that was mentioned.

I just did some brief research on it since I opened my mouth, all I can seem to find is that there used to be a thought it might affect absorption. The bottle doesn't have it on there anymore, so they must no longer subscribe to that idea. I have been taking creatine for a while now and it may have just been on an old bottle.
