Well, thank you for asking.

A few of my colleagues had health issues so that always makes you appreciate what you have. I have a job, a family, health, so I am blessed. Work-wise, the spring is magnitudes easier than the end of the fall.

I got glowing reports back from my football coaching on Sunday, am really enjoying fencing training at the moment. Am a idiot with regards to work and seem allergic to any process that makes money. Married a successful woman. Ankle is in bits. Have great kids. Question my existence every day.

So blessed really. Give life a solid two thumbs up on balance.

I retired last year after 30 years working for a major metro. I never really liked work in the first place so it's awesome. My day consists of fishing, golfing, poker and just partying in general. Usually I don't even know day of the week unless my cell phone is charged.

I'm happy for you bro!

As prescribed. I never felt high or good off them. Didn't feel different at all. I also have almost no anxiety, so that might be why.

So how exactly are you withdrawing off them? It's usually take as needed.

It was daily for 4 months. The withdrawal isn't anything crazy. The only annoying thing is messed up sleep.

Most doctors prescribe it daily, at least from what I've seen. They are definitely cutting back on it though. A lot are scared to prescribe it now.

Just keep a close eye on your vitals. Benzodiazepines have a decently long half-life, so withdrawals don’t really kick in until days 3-4. Not sure where you’re at. If your blood pressure was greater than 140/90, I’d reach out to a physician.

Thanks for looking out. I have health OCD so I don't like checking my BP. I do have beta blockers though. Maybe I'll take them just in case.

Doing amazing! Best financial year, just bought a house, building wealth, zero fear of the flu, got a copy of Daft Punk's "Random Access Memories" on its way to my porch, what else?

*Edit: both of my toilets now have bidet's on them...

Sure thing. Ultimately it’s up to you. It sounds like you were taking a small amount, and as prescribed. I would just like to offer that unlike some other drugs, withdrawal from benzos literally can kill you. The detox from those needs to be watched very carefully. If you can put your dislike of checking your vitals aside for a week or so, it really would be in your best interest. :)
But again, totally up to you.

Luckily I'm out of the dangerous phase. It's more of a nusance now. I'll take the propranolol tonight! I don't even have a BP machine. Threw it out lol.

over 50 and on my way to my inevitable second divorce. Pretty much see this as me riding off in to the sunset Lone Wolf.
On the positive, I'll finish fixing my house exactly as I want it and plant some tomatoes in the backyard.
