How about KZ vs Mendes for UFC Japan?

Korean Zombie says he wants to fight at UFC Japan. It seems very other top FW has a fight coming up besides Chad. The event is 3 months away and Chad didn't really take any damage at all tonight. Anyone else think it makes sense?

Seriously though, this injury was weird, and had a bizarre bizarre matchup as the result, but I don't see Mendes moving in the rankings after it. I see UFC pursuing the Dias match honestly.

I think he should get another crack at the title, Aldos fence grabbing got swept under the carpet something fierce after their first outing. That played a huge roll in how the fight went.

I doubt the UFC makes this fight. KZ is on a title run. They are not going to risk having him -- who is probably the next contender after Edgar -- go up against a guy who just lost a title fight. What if Mendes wins (which I think he will)? The UFC is not going to give him a shot at Aldo/Edgar so quickly after getting ko'd, and they are going to lose a contender in KZ. Lose lose situation.
