Haha she was my ref for my last am cagefight back in may 2013, before I went pro.. up in Tahoe at the Montbleu. She is actually a solid ref.

Then it hit me. Getting paid more than probably half the fighter roster at least just to sit cageside and walk around for a few seconds every 3 rounds is actually pretty damn smart.

Right on brother! It's all for shits snd giggles really. I went 2-1 as an am, lost my last am fight to Nolasco that night.. Turned pro later that year, aug, in the wfc. Lost my pro debut, then won twice. Turned pro at 35 for fun, not to be a champ, not to be famous, not to be in the ufc or any of that bs. 39 later this year, still work 50+ hrs a week in construction plus teaching spin class, and fight next in Nov hopefully. But was contacted on here in post, also in a private message and in email to my trainer, if I wanted to fight Pico at Bellator 183, which I said no to. Had cancer and injuries the past few yrs after turning pro, but I still enjoy training and having fun getting my ass kicked by guys I get to cheer for on tv and play fanboy with in real life. I look 21, born in 78, so ima have fun with this until the body says quit. If you wanna check shit out, I'm @oddwsfhyf on instagram (it's my personal page, not some social media groupie popularity contest bs.. so I don't have 1000s of followers and all that bs, just those I know or support me in what I do)

Damn, that´s a helluva busy lifestyle. Pretty impressive, i´m 40 myself and i only lift weights nowadays, i used to train Shooto and MMA like 10+ years ago.
Cancer is a son of a bitch, good to hear you beat it. Kick ass!

there is not a ring girl in this thread that i would not give the full 3 minutes of fury too.
