Fully geared up Ubereem was a problem. Gassed Francis ain't taking him down or LnPing him like he did to Gane.

He is knocking him out though because he needed those gloves for defense and in MMA he didn't have them.

Reem is one of my all time favorite fighters, 205Reem, CruiseReem, Ubereem, Enduroreem, or even USADAReem... He will go down as one of the best Heavyweight Mixed Martial Artist to compete, probably the top HW to not win a UFC title despite having 8 wins over fighters that have held UFC titles.

Nothing but hespect for Overeem, it’s actually predicated on his ability to adjust and stay relevant as a top 10 heavyweight, sometimes a contender for nearly two decades. He not only was able to be a competitive during Pride, K1, and Strikeforce era without stringent testing, but was one of the few athletes that made the necessary adjustments to also be successful during the USADA era.

I’m actually pissed that he was unceremoniously cut the wasteland that is the HW Division, especially considering that even though he was in the twilight of his career the Reem was remarkably still a competitive elite fighter that was still exciting to watch perform.

I think he had the most brutal knees in MMA history. He would just ruin people with them.

He definitely had the most brutal knees in K1 history. They changed their rules directly bc of his clinch and knees.

In MMA though, this knee genuinely put Fujita in a coma.

The Francis that fought Gane had a blown out knee. Francis would have eventually caught Ubereem. Alistair would have got some offense in, but Francis has a great chin and Alistair would have gotten caught. No doubt in my mind.

Isn’t it amazing how someone can practice a sport for over 20 years, and Overeem still not understand that standing still and blocking shots to your face with your hands is a terrible strategy.

When usada came in he changed to econoreem. Yet usada is a waste of time and they're all on the roids.

Ubereem got my blood flowing. I was so hyped when he joined the UFC but I knew his chin/cardio would be a huge issue.

Everybody was expecting him to fight prime Cain and JDS, after dispatching Lesnar with ease. Then he was out for like 2 years? And then got knocked by Bigfoot and Browne.

After those fights he turned into ecoreem and was poped for elevated hormonal levels

The rest of his career was kinda meh. Was never the same guy anymore. He drove me crazy with him turning his back and running from danger defense
