Probably the highlight of my purchases is the PHANTASM Collection box set with all five movies ( all remastered in 4K included the "X rated cut" of PHANTASM II ) & a replica model of one of the killer spheres.

I had preordered it from Amazon for $129 a month or so ago & it was due to arrive tomorrow. But then I got a notice from them that said that they're currently out of stock & that they may get some at some point in August or September. Which didn't sound very reassuring to me. I've had similar experiences with limited editions before & it usually means that they won't get any more. So, I looked at other mail-order stores like Zavvi & Diabolik DVD & they're sold out as well. Which meant e-Bay was my last resort. And there were none available there either except for one seller who had two copies left at $159 apiece. It was more than I wanted to pay, especially since the price went up to over $180 after taxes & shipping. But I didn't want to miss out on it so I bit the bullet & ordered one. After all, it's only money, right, bro?

I haven't even been aware of a Castle Freak remake, but I like the original and think it is an underrated film. I might check that out.
