Horror News & Discussion Redux

Checked out Zombeavers and Tusk.
Zombeacers was fun, loved the practical effects, had nudity, but compared to other horror comedies I've seen lately (The Final Girls, Deathgasm and Wyrmwood) it shows some deficiencies.
Tusk on the other hand starts out great, loved it up untill a certain celebrity makes a cameo and overstays his welcome. Kevin Smith tackled some interesting ideas, created a magnificent villain with an interesting story, then in the second half most things fall apart. It is a solid effoert, but I cannot mourn the loss of its potential.
 
I saw AGWHAAN, mainly due to some people recommending it ITT.

I definately enjoyed it. Very well made movie. And that gangster dude is probably the most douchey looking asshole I've seen in any horror movie.

Love how the Gangsta gets his just desserts too. Such a haunting film cut from a different cloth (Persian).

Also, I saw bits and pieces of a Serbian Film. Pretty much every post I've read said that people shouldn't watch it.

But I thought it couldn't really be that bad. But then it turns out that it's worse! Most disgusting movie I've ever seen. The people who made that filth should be locked up IMO.
 
So I've always thought that Netflix has a pretty shitty Horror selection, but recently I downloaded an app on my browser that makes it so I can view the Netflix selections from other countries. So I checked out Netflix UK and HOLY SHIT their selection smokes ours.

I watched the whole thing a while back, yeah it is pretty fucking sick.

Agree watched the whole thing on youtube and it def lowered the bar for humanity. It's a movie that we could have done without.

My guess is they just tried to come up with the sickest shit they could think of in order to make the film memorable. Outside of the nasty stuff that happens it really isn't a well made film, so obviously their gimmick worked somewhat.

At first I was surprised you mentioned that it's on youtube. But then I remember that they have Bud Dwyer blowing his brains out is on there too.

Shit like that shouldn't be on YT IMO. Kids can see that stuff. All you have to do is comfirm your age and everyone knows kids always say they are 18, or 21 or whatever, for every account they ever make.

True. Everything about that movie sucks. But the nasty shit is certainly memorable. Unfortunately.
 
Sadly it's about breaking the last vestiges of any taboo that's hit the cinema. They should troll the Deep Web for that kind of horseshi^e.

Kids have access to way worse shit on the internet tbh. I think most kids who click on that film on YT would get bored and shut it off before any of the sick shit happens.

I watched this flick called Subconscious Cruelty and shit changed me. It felt like genuine occult type shit. All weird symbolism and sickening violence. I pictured the director being like Belgian or something, and then I found he was called Karim Hussein so clearly it was even worse than I'd imagined

He turned out to be an Eli Roth-style douche saying he made films to scare dumbasses. Well played.
