Kyoji Horiguchi vs Neil Seery has been set for the Rotterdam card -

Surprised that Seery is fighting someone ranked so highly - would have thought that Horiguchi would be fighting someone in the top 10 at least?
 
Easy one for Horiguchi. Seery is foot slow and too dependent on being in the pocket.
 
whut? Horiguchi should have got Reis fight. Seery isn't even in top15
 
Hype (?) for "full-time American Top Team" Horiguchi.
 
Lots of miss matches on that card, but I like kyoji, so I'll watch.
 
Why not Horiguchi Vs Smolka?

I like Seery and all but he isn't gonna be able to really do anything against Horiguchi.
 
Weird match up. In my opinion Horiguchi showed the most potential against DJ (compared to DJ's other recent opponents), first couple of rounds was almost even although DJ had the control the whole time.

It honestly could be a split decision worthy fight if Kyoji could keep up with DJ's pace,cardio and if he had the same experience at the top of the division. His striking and wrestling was clearly up there with DJ in RD 1 and 2.

And he gets an unranked FLW now ?

Seery is a crazy man for taking this fight, hope it works out he seems like a stand up guy.

That would have being a good match up.

Who knows, maybe Smolka is injured. I don't think Seery has being in a boring fight since he came in to the UFC, but I can see him having lots of trouble with Horiguchi's speed.

Yeah Seery is a very crafty guy who is always fun to watch, but Horiguchi is most likely better than him everywhere, it will probably be a fun fight though.
 
What a ridiculous fight to make, Horiguchi should have been fighting JoeB or Wilson Reis, even Scoggins would have been a good fight

Seery going to have problems with horiguchi's speed and movement
