College Hoops 2024-2025 Thread *** Florida National Champions ***

They want to keep disrespecting Uconn at #3? I’m here for it.

We lost a bunch of guys, but we got Karaban back and some depth to go along with the new players.

I don’t have X, is there a full list somewhere? Because I’d put 1st natty Huskies against the. Florida boys.
Keep in mind, this was made before the start of the 2023-23 season so that's why there's no 23 or 24 UConn.

1. 07 UF
2. 01 Duke
3. 04 UConn
4. 05 UNC
5. 15 UK (would be #1 had they won it all)
6. 18 Villanova
7. 09 UNC
8. 21 Baylor
9. 05 Illinois
10. 02 Maryland
11. 08 KU
12. 12 UK
13. 21 Gonzaga
14. 07 Ohio St
15. 15 Wisconsin
16. 02 Duke
17. 16 Villanova
18. 01 Arizona
19. 15 Duke
20. 17 UNC
21. 19 Virginia
22. 08 Memphis
23. 01 Michigan State
24. 13 Louisville
25. 08 UCLA

The disrespect continues. The 2014 National Champ Huskies had to beat the #1 ranked team in the tournament and Nation. The Final Four game against Florida was essentially the national championship. We also snapped Florida’s 30 game win streak, but their last loss just so happened to be against us as well, lol. So what? 2014 was a shit year?

I also see a couple schools up their with vacated seasons….WTF?

2002 Duke? We made it father than them that tournament. And at least we lost to the eventual champs (Maryland) in the Elite Eight. #1 Duke got bounced by #23 Indiana in the Sweet Sixteen.

Then again, the list is just an opinion.

Kind of a dick move by Bennett to quit right before the start of the season when it's nothing health-related. NIL and the portal didn't start yesterday.

<{MingNope}>

Also let me guess, you're a Duke "fan" on the west coast with no connection whatsoever to the school. I'm shocked.

Could not give a shit about either of those schools.

After this Invitational, a threepeat doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen. My Huskies continue to make the bad kind of history, by losing to unranked opponents on consecutive days while ranked.

NGL, there were some bullshit fouls called. Obviously the refs want to vibe check Hurley and his temper.

I thought before the season even started that they would be lucky to make the sweet 16 this year. They lost way too much talent and experience

If Auburn beats Memphis here, they will be #1 when the new rankings come out on Monday

Does anyone have any idea what compelled Harper and Bailey to pick Rutgers of all places? They haven’t gotten to the Sweet Sixteen since the 70s

Harper is local and his older brother went there.
Bailey was the #1 player in GA and buddy buddy with Bruce Pearl so I can't explain that one.

Thanks. I remember Dyl’s brother went to Rutgers but I figured because he was so much more highly touted, he would’ve gone to a blue blood

Why not Rutgers? I like when talent tries to start up a dynasty at a new school instead of the usual suspects.
