Woodley was ducking Lombard while begging for a shot. You can try and duck when you have the belt, but it doesn't work before then unless you have some kind of sway. And Woodley doesn't. He wont get a shot now because nobody cares about him and he sidelined himself for too long. If he had any sense he'd beg for Magny.

His second mistake was his inactivity after that fact, while the rest of the division got to work. You have to remain active in the minds of the fans and Woodley isn't doing that. His body of work since his last loss isn't enough to fill the gap, either.
