Honestly, I'd rather see Jones vs OSP than Jones/Cormier 2

We already know who the better fighter is between Jones and Cormier. We already know that Jones is WAY MORE than capable of securing UFC gold and holding it. Who cares if one fight isn't for the title?

If he still had the belt, he'd be facing OSP at some point any ways. Let's just look at this as just another title defense for Jones.. we already have to look past his one "loss" and see him as undefeated..and already look past the fact that technically he is tied with Anderson's records but won't be officially. So let's just look past the fact that he doesn't have the belt this time around, and see what would have happened if he were defending after a long break.

I'm all game for this fight. Bring it OSP

You might be the only one m8

Nah, I wanted to see DC get son'd by Jones again.

I would've loved to see Jones vs Osp maybe a year from now after Osp beat a couple of contenders. That being said I'm still excited to watch the fight.

No, Cormier will gives Jones a much tougher fight

Your on for a short notice OSP instead of a Cormier with a full training camp ? that makes sense
Well ... im on to see Jones "son" guys at HW ... like we all know he will right ?

Never get tired of seeing dc lose but there is also a chance he may win. Plus the real champ needs to be crowned

I would have preferred Jones/DC 2. I think DC could have done some of what he did to Gus to Jones this time around...would have been a better fight.
OSP had a slim to none chance of meeting Jones. There's no way he would have gotten past Rumble, DC or Gus. I just watched the Bader/OSP fight and it made me feel sorry for OSP. He's not mentally strong enough to be in there with Jones. Bader broke him....think of what Jones can do.

OSP has a better chance of beating Jones than DC does

Good news for you, it's happening tonight.

No way. OSP has crazy sloppy footwork, will get taken down with ease, and throws almost exclusively arm punches.

Granted, he's knocked some fools out with those arm-punches, but I don't think he'll be connecting with many of those.

All jones needs to do is fight a disciplined fight, and he'll be finishing OSP by the second round.

Are you not capable of looking past the simple headline??? OSP is fighting one of the best fighters ever on a few weeks notice. This fight is only interesting because this is a light heavyweight fight where one punch can change everything. But if Jon Jones wins we still don't know shit about what OSP's potential is against Jones. There is a reason why fighters have training camps.

He definitely has issues in his game but at least he has the power to put Jones out. DC does not. DC doesnt have any path to victory, he cant KO him, he cant sub him and cant outgrind him to a decision. And at least OSP is only at a 5 inch reach and 1 inch height disadvantage whereas DC is at a 12 inch reach and 7 inch height disadvantage. OSP is unorthodox, tricky and quick/explosive and accurate. Hes elusive and can counterpunch really well. He also usually looks to stay at range whereas DC has no choice but to get in close where Jones is strongest. OSP can actually scramble really well with his athleticism and strength, he learns and improves quick so hes not as bad at wrestling as he was before. And OSP can actually kick and kick good and hard. DC has some of the worst kicks in mma.

I like this fight. OSP was almost on his way to a title shot at some point anyways. (7-2 in UFC) He is an exciting fighter, with a punchers chance definately has upset potential although unlikely. Either way it will be great to see Jones come back for a warm up fight.

It will sort of be somewhere in between Silva-Bonnar and Jones-Teixeira. Not too easy but not too hard.

he is the only one
no. I am completely with him. OSP is a dangerous threat for anybody. dont be surprised that much when something crazy happens tonite. for jones this would be another contender eliminated, another man down.

Not only that, but this is SOMETHING NEW

Aren't we bored of rematches by now??

Isn't it great when two top level guys go at it that have never faced each other before?

Sure, Jones could get his belt back by fighting Cormier but yawn.. I want NEW OPPONENTS. Rumble obviously would be the first choice but this works too.
