Homophobic Republican State Rep.

Dude could have just said, "please don't touch my arm, it makes me uncomfortable:, but instead, he clearly made it about the guy's sexuality. Obvious closet homo is obvious.

Exactly. Republicans are so stiff and rarely have a sense of humor. I guess if I was fighting my sexuality at every turn I may be too!

If I absolutely had to say something publicly, I would have just asked him if he was trying to warm me with his body heat or something. That reaction came off like this guy wants to power bottom for Mr Bear all night long while his wife is away at a pool boys' convention.

Republican rep: "im a straight male who loves his wife. I've never payed for rent boys or worn womens underwear, ever."

You didn't watch the video, did you?
I did. He asked the man to stop touching him because he was hetero sexual and it made him uncomfortable. Is that not the appropriate response when one feels uncomfortable with someone touching them?

Its weird how many of you guys immediately leap into these bizarre sexual fantasies when something like this happens. Thats a pretty descriptive fantasy you just came up with there.

You'll make a fantastic wife someday.

Seemed they were both fucking around to me

he pulled the Heath Herring, 'he committed a homosexual act....I'm not gay!' haha

It's called being an adult. People are sometimes touchy and don't even know they are doing it,. Only a closet gay or homophobic person would see it as a sexual thing

I work with a guy that doesn't like to be touched - we think he's a germaphobe (sp), but he's definitely not homophobic.

Maybe the guy is just touching him all the time/ invading his personal space - I work with 1 like that as well and it's creepy.

"don't touch me you're giving me a boner"

And what an incredibly, Passive aggressive pansy stunt that was.

“derp derp derp, I’m married, I love my wife, I don’t like men…”

It’s not that he felt his physical boundaries were crossed, but the fact that he felt the need to rub it in his face, in a very condescending, insulting manner.

Seriously, fu*k this guy. I guarantee this guy has gay porn on his hard drive.

no

I've never had a problem with that sort of friendly touching. Some men and women are really sensitive too it.

The worst is when someone gets touched and the other person is like, "That's assault!"

You're missing the part where he brought up sexual orientation. You either didn't watch the video or youre permanently stuck on a certain end of the political spectrum.

A simple "please don't touch me" would suffice.
Its not taboo to be gay anymore. I think its OK to say people are gay if they are.

If you don't care that he did this, that's fine, it's barely a story, but don't pretend that there wasn't some element of homophobia attached. It's very obvious.
