Good god you guys are freaking pansies.

Those are Daddy Long Legs - they eat other insects (like flies and mosquitoes), bird poop and fungus spores - AND ARE 100% HARMLESS TO HUMANS. We used to play with them when we were kids.

I moved to SW Michigan last year - you want to see a lot of damn spiders? They are here by the shit-ton.

We kind of do, but we are surprisingly used to them. We don't have too many really dangerous ones, so I guess that helps. Did have a buddy bit by a recluse, but that's about it. Have killed black widows. But overall, just a lot of interesting garden and jumping spiders. Every other year I see some weird spider that I'm amazed I haven't seen in almost 35 years of living in this area. Saw an all black hairy jumping style spider bigger than a damn quarter last year. I was like, wtf is this??

house needs to be cleaned.

give us a clue, who is that mysterious man in the white square? ^^^^^^^^^

Like I said, I moved to Holland from Milwaukee - and I don't think I'm ever going to get used to walking out my front door to the garage without my face blasting through at least three spider webs.

Just last week, I had one of these cute little guys walking back and forth on the top edge of my computer monitor for about half an hour - looked like he was just trying to warm up.

I guess I wouldn't want to be a fly on the wall in this case.

This. I have no idea why people are so scared of spiders.

This guy's house is way worse than the OP.

eeek what kind are those?

Spiders themselves do not scare me, like how they look, doesn't bother me. I don't like things that can hide and I can't see me, or can get on me or be on me without me knowing.

I also don't like poisonous things. So a poisonous thing that could hide anywhere and multiply by the hundreds? jk I am scared

They should just merge this and the deepest fear thread

Too much moisture. Next up will be mold.

Those aren't spiders.

Imagine walking into that room not knowing any better and a clump of these insects drops down the back of your neck.

Gives me the creeps.

Are dady long legs as cool as cellar spiders.

I mean cellar are harmless and they eat just about any spider they see.
