i was about to run out and do something but wanted to watch the first round... damn MM is a gangster. he did everything perfectly, stayed calm after he got taken down then launched Cejudo off perfectly. i think him being a gamer helps him out a lot. he knows how much and when to explode. great performance.

Well he stayed in the pocket/clinch much longer than usual imo. That's really been my only complaint. Sometimes he is just so content with staying on the outside doing quick combos and quickly exiting and not taking that many risks even when the opponent is basically done.

That was expected as it gets. Cejudo's wrestling has nose dived since the Olympics and he is essentially just a Militech wrestle boxer. There are too many facets of MMA to just have two tools in your box. Additionally, he lost to Camus and was shoved in the title slot faster than the Gooch. Mighty Mouse is fantastic but he has cleaned out the division more than Jones. There are no challenges on the horizon either. This is why Conor is so loved; he runs to a challenge even if it is bad for his brand. That courage is appreciated by the fans and it lines the wallet. SO sick of dominant champs that crush inferior fighters.

Also Cejudo looked nervous and stiff from the intro. Think the nerves and poor weight cut got him. Maybe this will light a fire under his ass and he'll stop chowing on that crap cheap BBQ sauce.
