Holm have legit chances to take it IMO
Good footwork and lots of "eish!eish!eish!"
She can do it.
 
We'll see how she fares against Valentina first.


Holly can definitely beat Cyborg but I think she'll get clipped in all that time(assuming it's a five rounder). Cyborg fought much smarter & technically in her last fight. Best form she's been in. She won't charge at Holly randomly unless she caught her leading to the kill.

Thats the only problem i see in making this fight.
I want to see a rematch with Miesha to.

Holm beating Cyborg looks more realistic than Rousey getting enough of her shit together to come back to the cage.
 
I think this fight could actually be more competitive than some think. Frame wise there close in size, overall size though favors cyborg. Also Holly's technical approach to mma could play dividends. I don't think Cyborg will be able to simply plow through her like she does her other opponents. I'm pretty sure Cyborg would win but Holm would definitely get her licks in.
 
And both don't own purple pillows.... I'm down to watch.
 
time is not right is one of the worst excuses for not fighting
no fighter should get to choose opponents based on timing
if you re not injured, please fight or else own up that i ve a fair chance of losing hence i will not fight
 
I'm not saying it's the same thing of course, but a very good kickboxer Jorina Baars, made Cyborg look silly in a kickboxing fight a couple of years ago.

Holm is a good technical kickboxer, so yeah, I think it would be competitive. Not like Cyborg is known for her takedowns.
 
The fight would draw a lot of PPVs. People would be curious about the match up. In a sense, it is a lower risk fight for Holm that the Shevchenko fight. If she loses to Shevchenko, she REALLY slides down in the rankings. If she loses to Cyborg at catch weight, it is not as big a deal. And if she wins against Cyborg, it sets her up as the monster of the division.
 
Cyborg will make HH her bitch during the fight! Cyborg by domestic violence!!! Now HH decides to hold out for the money fight, after losing Tate fight and squandering her biggest pay day.
 
I dont see any chance Holm beats Cyborg. Sure I doubt Cybrog finishes her in the first round like she did Leslie Smith but I still see a dominant Cyborg victory. Holly is nowhere near as good as Baars standing and Cyborg did pretty well and went the distance against her in her own sport showing an excellent chin and heart in the process. And Cyborg is obviously way better on the ground. I will go on record saying Cyborg is better meaning more technical (not only more powerful) on the feet. Cyborg trashes her everywhere.

Ya but shell get it eventually, not like shes gonna keep dropping fights at 135 since she got no one to lose to


Seems to me that the champ is willing to do a catchweight bout, Holly is willing, and Ronda is on the couch crying and producing lifetime movies, at what point do her fanboys admit shes running from Cyborg and always has been ? Probably never

cyborg is easily the best female mma fighter, how is it low reward beating her? holly would be the goat and gain a lot more followers
