Hollywood Has Officially Shut Down

This isnt about the writers strike, genius, this is about the actors strike, please do better at understanding stuff
Unsure how that would work when there are millions that would kill their mother just to 'make it.'

Everyone prefers a star, but they're born everyday.

Not invincible! Anything but invincible!
Edit: and The Boys.
F**k, I hope not I love Invincible, still waiting to an actual trailer to the show to see what's going to happen this season.

but the pornstars are still working right?

The big issue I gather is that like most industries Hollywood has been trying to use the move onto net business to fuck over workers, to make the legal blank slate a good way to upend a system which was worked out in an era of stronger unions.

The Boys season 4 isn't being released because of this garbage, even though the filming has already wrapped up.:mad:

I think pornographic actors are still working. Some of the more fledgling actors and actresses can probably cross over.

Good. What has Hollywood contributed to Western society beyond pedophilia, liberalism, and making drug dealers rich?

WTF is American Auto? Show looks like shit.

Fuck Hollywood.

with franchise block busters bombing this year and this im interested to see where it all goes
Writters get paid fuck all in comparison to actors who get paid fuck all in comparison to the ceos, etc
bog Iger has called it disturbing when his pay check could be upto 23 million this year alone

Its quiet interesting though in terms of rights and payment in the digital/streaming age. Thats whats interesting to me at least rather than the content that's being held

though, fuck you for holding up Boys Season 4. its literally like the only show that tickles my fancy enough to fan boy out over!

The only issue I have with this is that one possible outcome is the death of streaming. If actors, writers, directors, etc. all feel like they're not being compensated properly, then say goodbye to reasonably priced streaming services, because they'll all be $50+ a month.

The most surprising thing I learned at the outset of this breakdown was that The Nanny is the President of the SAG. Actors weren't happy with the deal she negotiated. The fact they announced the strike appears to cement that the members of the union have no confidence in her, so I doubt she remains in that position for long.

Throwback. We all remember that bikini.

If it's not a sustainable business model, shouldn't we be ok watching it lose on the market? Obviously, getting things under market value is nice.
