Mad props to holly, real champ. Disappointed in Connor dude tapped. Guess he is all talk, don't let ufc marketing fool you.

lol my g/f who isn't familar with the sport asked me why conor tapped out and why Holly went to sleep, what was different?

I told her because Holly ain't no bitch

209 motherfucker.

Yeah, look there is no shame in tapping but if you claim so much and not come through its suspect. Big ups to meisha and holly Connor not so much.

For Holly it was the 5th round of a fight she was clearly winning, and she wasn't gassed or rocked, so hanging in there made sense.

For McGregor, he was barely conscious, rocked to the point of going for a desperation takedown. He knew he had lost.

Stop being so simple.

How many of u have been in a rnc by a top 10 UFC fighter....

They both took Ls

As a Conor fan, I'm glad he tapped and didn't take much damage tonight.

Nate looked worse at the presser, but don't act like Nates slaps didn't do any damage, the mental damage aswell is enough for him to sit out for a little while.

It was so awkward watching Holm and McGregor sit next to each other when the question was asked to Holly "What made you decide not to tap?"

You could almost hear the urine trickle down McGregors leg.

I thought she was trying to tap just as she was going out? Or was that just muscle spasms (didn't watch the presser)?

I've been in a RNC from Rubens Charles and woke up with the class standing over me. I didn't tap, because I didn't have time... because the choke was sunk and I was out before I could think to tap. That's the difference. If you have time or inclination to tap, you have time to fight the choke. This isn't practice, this is a fucking prize fight with millions and millions of dollars and your name on the line. This wasn't a kneebar or a heel hook. It was a RNC.

I would never tap in a fight in front of millions of people. Practice, I tap as soon as I realize I can't escape. In a fight, fuck that. You have to kill me. If you have me beat, I'll still be beat when I wake up...

She didn't say. That was her last ditch effort to do anything at all while her brain was resetting. Literally fighting to the fucking end. ALL heart. Holly is a true champion man. You have to kill her to take her belt. Balls.

Conor's looked more painful. Holly's was a clean blood choke, which barely hurt at all. Conor's looked like it was being pulled slightly across the windpipe, crushing, which hurts like fucking crazy.

That's what it looked like to me, anyway, but maybe Conor just knew he was beat and tapped. No shame in tapping.

"We're not just here to touch-butt, we're here to roll over!" Conor McGregor

As much as i'm shitting on Conor's flaws after the Diaz loss, i'm going to say this:

Holly just lost the belt and won't get a rematch with Tate because Dana said Rousey is next... she hasn't got shit right now.

Conor on the other-hand has a 1M fight salary (+ PPV buys which he will sell big) and the FW belt which he will defend against Aldo & Frankie in hugely marketable fights. He is still on top... just depends for how much longer.

"I lost like a man".

No Conor, you lost like a glass-hearted boy.

Holly fought til the bitter end, mad respect for that.
