Nate looked worse at the presser, but don't act like Nates slaps didn't do any damage, the mental damage aswell is enough for him to sit out for a little while. As a Conor fan, I'm glad he tapped and didn't take much damage tonight.
For Holly it was the 5th round of a fight she was clearly winning, and she wasn't gassed or rocked, so hanging in there made sense.
For McGregor, he was barely conscious, rocked to the point of going for a desperation takedown. He knew he had lost.
Stop being so simple.
I've been in a RNC from Rubens Charles and woke up with the class standing over me. I didn't tap, because I didn't have time... because the choke was sunk and I was out before I could think to tap. That's the difference. If you have time or inclination to tap, you have time to fight the choke. This isn't practice, this is a fucking prize fight with millions and millions of dollars and your name on the line. This wasn't a kneebar or a heel hook. It was a RNC.How many of u have been in a rnc by a top 10 UFC fighter....
She didn't say. That was her last ditch effort to do anything at all while her brain was resetting. Literally fighting to the fucking end. ALL heart. Holly is a true champion man. You have to kill her to take her belt. Balls.I thought she was trying to tap just as she was going out? Or was that just muscle spasms (didn't watch the presser)?
It was so awkward watching Holm and McGregor sit next to each other when the question was asked to Holly "What made you decide not to tap?"
You could almost hear the urine trickle down McGregors leg.
