I was reading up a bit on Nunes. Didn't this Cat Cigano tko her? Why isn't Nunes fighting her? Or was the tko a fluke, or is Cat done as a fighter?

UFC WFW can't even be called a legit division. It's never had more than a handful of active fighters at one time.

Holm was the only name in the division besides Cyborg so it's hard to hold those title shots against her.

Her title shot against Rousey was deserved and she was the defending champ vs Tate.

This title shot against Nunes is questionable. That said I don't think there's a clear cut contender being skipped over. Viera and Ladd could use 1 more fight.
 
Get it or not, I hope she wins. I'll be rooting for Holly.

I am very interested. We know she has a chin and she has the cardio.
Nunes has heavy hands but she has also shown that she slows down in high paced matches.
Holly is pretty much a larger Valentina with less ground game and we all saw that an undersized Valentina was a handful for Nunes. Beat her imho but she is in the correct division for her size now.

I am going to get all crazy and say Holly by head kick on a tired Nunes round 4 or 5. Mostly because I hope it happens but the analysis is realistic I think.
 
She's a draw and a good representation of the sport. She draws good PPV numbers and TV ratings. When the UFC went to Singapore, the local promoters specifically asked to have her on the card because the locals were obsessed with her.
 
Who else is Nunes gonna fight? WMMA, especially at 135 is so thin right now.

Okay okay sorry but I have to ask.....when white guys go all crazy for Asian chicks it's called yellow fever ( I'm not trying to be racist that's just the term I'm sure you've heard it)

Is there a term for Asian guys that lust after white women? And is it as big of a thing as white guys with Asian chicks.

I know I seem a little to enthusiastic....but I just gotta know lol
 
Holly wins tomorrow. Bad matchup for Nunes. Nunes isn't unbeatable. She gases and Holly has the best cardio in her division. Yea, i hate even talking about WMMA but i bet and want to win money. +300 I'm taking. She'll hop around, stick and move, kick here and there.... Cyborg went to bang with Nunes and Nunes ended up getting the KO. Could have easily went the other way. Holly isn't going to come rushing in on her like that and going for a slugfest. That's where Nunes excels, in slugfests. I also can't wait till the Frankie and Max fight get closer so we can talk about that. I think Frankie is a HORRIBLE matchup for Max and always have. Max has never fought a wrestler and Frankie should be able to take him down at will. Frankie is also a +300. I am making a big parlay for the fights over the next two months!!
