I think it dissipates some with age... I know when I was in HS I acted like I had to date girls that were considered “hot” or part of the “in crowd”...

I’m not sure if it’s some type of posturing or projection?? Self esteem maybe ?? I tend to lean toward it’s a posturing behavior... “Look at me... No. A fighters face near to the time of a fight will be missing a normal amount of fat in it due to weight-cutting. A woman's face will almost always look better and more feminine once that facial fat returns. And if that photo is a weigh-in photo, which it appears to be, then her facial appearance will also likely be adversely affected by dehydration. It will surely look better, and more feminine, once that missing water is restored. Therefore, the face of your photo should not be expected to be either her best face or her everyday "face you will be waking up to in the morning."
