Everybody thinks that Amanda will use her boxing and eat a head kick because of fun.
You're all wrong, as soon as Holm tries her first head kick Nunes will close the distance and from there onward it will be all about wrestling, which is why Holly is fucked.
She can otherwise ish-ish Amanda into boxing, which will end up even worse.

I like Holm, we all like her, she seems humble (not that Amanda is a bitch like Rousey used to be) and such, but let's be honest with it, 'mmkay?

But you still got to give her some credit beyond the numbers, because her losses were not that bad.

* Arguably got robbed by the judges against de Randamie
* Holly was up by 1 point over Miesha, was tagging her up, got subbed late in the 5th. Not the worst loss
* Despite getting out-struck by Valentina, at least Holm landed a knockdown. Something not even Nunes managed.
* Holm stood 5 rounds with Cyborg and ate her best shots without getting knocked down or anything
* Holm has never been knocked out in MMA. Nunes just has 5 more MMA fights than Holm and has been knocked out twice. (Granted, Holm has been knocked out twice in kickboxing, but that was over a 38 fight career)

Just let me disagree on one specific point there, I don't really recall Holm eating big shots from Cyborg, Cyborg was more of a tactical version of her on that fight while Holm was about doing ish-ish and not much more, as far as I can remember.

Holly might win if this was a "take a selfie" contest or a "lets sneak around with Jon Jones and tell everybody it ain't so" contest, but in this one, Amanda will knock Holly out of the ring..literally...for good.

Holm's coach said in the countdown that they figure Amanda trying to land a big punch but Holly is gonna destroy her with elbows with techniques that you usually don't see on her.

I personally think Amanda is going to get frustrated, because Holly is not going to stand and bang like Cyborg did, so Amanda is not going to land those big punches that easy.

I hope Holly'll avoid Amanda's leg kicks. I want to see how good is Amanda taking people down, her ground game. Holly moves a lot so she will take Holly down easy? If don't it will be interesting to see how does Amanda handle it.

I think this fight might be a lot closer than people think.

I do expect Nunes to win but Holly does not come out swinging wildly, she is very conservative and defense-minded. That generally does not make for exciting fights, BUT it is the way she tends to fight. Holly is very very physically strong, and she will have great stamina, so.... I think if she can avoid Nunes big shots for 3 rounds at least, this could very well go to s decision.

I don't expect an exciting fight, for that..... see Jones and Santos and Masvidal vs Askren.

This is one of Holly’s best kicks. It’s a teep kick feint, it starts out like a teep kick (front/push kick) then turns into a head kick, she throws this as well as anyone I’ve seen in the UFC.

Nunes vs Holm reminds me a lot to Rousey vs Holm
Her oponent is arrogant and claims to be the greatest. Nobody is giving Holly a chance, everybody thinks she's going to get demolished but she's going to SHOCK THE WORLD. I can feel it man.

Styles make fights guys! I don't see Amanda KO'ing Holly, her style is completely different to Cyborg and Rousey. Holly has a very good footwork and her head movement is good as well, she's very fast and her movements are great, her cardio is amazing. Also, she's a good counter striker and she has great kicks that can put anyone to sleep.

The only Amanda's oponent who had a symilar style to Holly is Valentina (a counter striker), and Amanda won by a split desicion in a fight where most people think that Valentina got robbed. Also, Valentina is an smaller fighter, Amanda is not going to have that huge size advantage with Holly.

I think Amanda is going to throw a lot of low kicks to slow Holly down because she knows Holly moves a lot so to catch Holly is not going to be easy.
Probably Amanda will try to take Holly down because to beat her on the ground would be easier, but Holly has good TDD, however I hope she's improved more in that because Amanda is well rounded.

Amanda is a beast, she's the hardest female hitter, but Holly knows that already, she will be very careful (she always is, that's her style) Holly is smart she will not make that Cyborg mistake.

Holly's stand-up is good, she has to stop the takedowns and be careful with Amanda's low kick. She has to move a lot. I see her winning by desicion and if she lands her kicks, she could surprise Amanda.

You're a DELUSIONAL casual. You cannot even compare Amanda Nunes to Ronda Fraud of the Century Rousey. Ronda was in no way ever even remotely the same caliber of fighter/athlete that Amanda Nunes is...especially now. Ronda Rousey was a can fed fraud from the get go beating nobody cans who catered to her fighting style. The game has changed.

I love it how if a non blond hair blue eyed fighter is confident they're considered arrogant.

Ronda Fraud Rousey was arrogant. Amanda Nunes has been nothing but respectful throughout all of her victories.

Look at all title shots Holly Holm was given despite losing 16 of her last fights. I mean really if Amanda lost once she probably wouldnt get another title shot and shes on a winning streak.
