Holloway vs Poirier, who wins today?

Max's first lost was against Poirier, but he was only 20 years old at the time.

Love em both but gotta go with Holloway. His footwork is just too smooth and his boxing is too crisp. We learned that his TDD has gotten MUCH better as well.

I think Poirier fought Max at a good time for him. Today's match up might be different. Loving Dustin back at 155 again. And Max coming for that 145 strap.

Great fight if it happened, but Poirier's days at 145 are certainly over he said. I like both guys.

If they fought tomorrow; I wouldn't
know who to choose. They are both
looking ripe for the pickings in their
respective brackets. Holloway should
be facing champions right now
& I said that before the Lamas fight.
Hell; I said it before the Stephens
fight!

& Unfortunately for Poirier;
he just so happens to be in the
deepest bracket in the organization...
otherwise, I'd say he's ready to face
champions as well. Again, I wouldn't
be able to definitively pick. Being a
HUGE fan of both since their first
fight... it makes it even more difficult.
So I'll refrain from a choice.

But I will say that I think Poirier has
the ability to finish Max, STILL.
& Max has developed traps for
his opponents at every turn.
Would need to be a 5 round fight
for us to truly see who has improved
the most. Imo, it looks like Max isn't
just destined for a belt. Imo, it looks
like he's destined for greatness.

Max was giving Poirier problems in the first fight until the fight hit the ground. I would give the edge to Poirier but Max has come a very long way and improved ten fold
