I think the comparison should have been to Dom. Trailblazer has had the same amount of fights this year that Cruz has had over the last 6 years.
I don't hate Khamzat at all. I just think it is ridiculous he is even in the conversation with Leon or a title shot. The guy should have been over the moon that Magny would fight him but the UFC instead takes an opportunity to push him into a fight with Leon.https://www.mmamania.com/2020/10/14...eil-magny-challenge-ufc-fight-dec-19-espn-mma

He did but why the UFC or Ali never proceeded who knows....apparently Edwards was better on both sides.
Also he was rebooked for Edwards in Jan, no reason to step down from a potential Title Eliminator at this point unless there is more involved.
Holland decisioned Meer...Kham made 17 seconds work of him.
While I think sometimes the Hype is a bit much so is the Hate...

Cain is one of the biggest what ifs of all time
personally I think there is enough evidence to suggest had he been more active his record would be scattered with losses.
It’s a shame we never saw Cain vs Stipe or Overeem. I think both men could have beaten Cain however.
Stipe would destroy Cain.
Stipe would destroy Cain.
I wouldn't be so sure about that. If they fought now, Stipe for sure.
However, if we're talking about back then before Cain got injured and sat out for two years. No, it wouldn't have been easy for Stipe.
Cain had just demolished JDS. Stipe was only a year removed from getting finished by Struve. Then JDS beat Stipe convincingly. It wouldn't be a sure thing for Stipe.
Stipe has nothing for prime Cain.
Prime Cain is a myth buddy. Stipe already surpassed Cain in every way possible and would absolutely wreck Cain.
This is some cerrone-esque work rate out of this guy. How can anyone not be a fan. This guy is a superstar in the making. He's almost there. He's going to be the A side of every fight he gets aside from.Izzy for now.
No need to apologise as I didn't take it as an attack. Even if you were thinking I was being a "Hater" you were respectful in your comments and I responded in kind. I actually like discussing MMA on here but it is rare. Too often it is Hyperbolic threads or responses to threads that are over the top one way or the other. I like good fights and I like watching guys and even women climb the ranks and EARN a shot. My biggest issue is when the UFC puts so much into a fighter and end up giving them so much power. Look at how much control McGregor now has and has exercised since getting his LW title fight. He held two divisions up, literally for years. He also has two UFC fights in the 4 years after winning his 2nd UFC title. I hope they don't push Khamzat to a WW & MW title consecutively and then see him sitting around holding the UFC divisions hostage.I wasn't accusing you of hate, it was a general hate/hype type comment for the plethora of (repeat) threads. Sorry if it came across wrong.
As a fan of Edwards, Holland, Magny and Khamzat...well jus about all fighters I do see the frustration with Rankings, Bookings, Political game and gain.
As a fight fan and someone who can't influence shit, I just want good scraps.
