Walmart store had Final Fantasy 16 for $25 for PS5.

Most recent FF I have is 13 for PS3 and barely played it. I think 14 was supposed to require internet, so skipped that.

Is MLB The Show '24 worth buying? I read it came out months ago and saw it at two places $19.99 new.

I'm thinking whatever I buy should be for PS5 since it's getting hard to find new PS4 controllers.

You've missed it being a part of PS Plus back in September, I have it installed but haven't gotten round to starting it yet

Yeah 14 is the MMO (Still an amazing game in its own right though) but 16 is also made by the 14 team with a heavily updated version of the 14 game engine

I made on the spot gamble and bought FF16 not knowing if it was online only. It was one of those rollbacks or something that sounded like a now or never risk.

I just finished FFXVI and really liked it. I managed to grab it on rollback for $13 at my Walmart. One of my favorite FF games in a while. The gameplay is more action adventure so hopefully that is something you are into.

Kind of up to you. The 2025 release is a couple months out, and if you like college baseball that might interest ya. Otherwise no major gameplay changes.

The last baseball video game I really got into and was fun was PS1 MLB '99 with Mo Vaughn on the cover, I think. Next baseball game I bought was PS3 MLB The Show '12 and the inability to hit HR's prevented me from even trying to play a game itself. I just want simple hitting, fielding, stealing bases like even NES Little League Baseball or Genesis World Series Baseball had. I also want the actual players like Shohei Ohtani and maybe old guys like Greg Maddux.

Nah it's an SP game. I loved it but it's more of an action/adventure type gameplay though.

Target clearance price for PS5 Final Fantasy 16 was $14.99 after I paid $25 not long ago.
