Not sure what you want to hear.. I mean you dont look good here. But you just need to keep training.

Also. I dont understand why the padholder try to make you many different types of attacks and different combinations. You need countless hours of super basic stuff. To learn footwork and balance between the shots you throw.

Like textbook basic shit. Like you see tyrone spong doing with Henry hooft. Or ilia topuria doing.

Make the basic look good first.

well it's at a fitness gym so basically improvisation. He doesn't train at the gym I'm at. Met up with him here. Yeah half the combos were missed but it's about the spirit, all work is good. There aren't even mats here to be proper barefoot. But more work = good. He also made a mistake like 3x cause I'm southpaw when asking for a straight. If I ever train with him here, we do some partner drills and sparring but I really dislike practicing fighting at a commercial fitness gym. He's pretty good though he does pro fights. Just wish he was at my gym. I'm not even at this fitness gym but they can bring someone on the weekend. Also only time we even did mitts ever. Yeah half the combos had a mistake and it didn't flow. Still a good exercise. More work is always good.

I understand the frustration. Working with a brand new padholder is never a smooth experience.

It takes time to build a bond together. So both get into a state of flow.

it's not frustrating. This was months ago. Like I said I might train with him once in a blue moon. I prefer to train at proper gyms with mats. Just saw this in my gallery and posted it. Just for fun. He is a good sparring partner though. Cause I know him long. So we an go hard and no-one will get offended and throw something crazy. However he is not at the gym I'm at. At the gym I'm at we don't even do pads, unless I was gonna connect with someone in the future and do pads. We keep doing a lot of the Dutch pads aka hitting the combos on our bodies, you know on the gloves and body. Not bad either but we do way too much of that. Like the trainer doesn't bother to bring in more diversity, it's basically 60% of the training class. Not bad but can be annoying. This month I'm in Herzegovina anyways. Might go a bit to my old boxing gym. Still recovering from a flue.

I like your kicks bruder but im not sure about your punches, they seem a bit slow. It looks like you are loading up on the punches. Es sieht so aus als on du ausholst vor dem Schlag. Aber der Rest sieht super aus. LG aus Bonn.

Thanks for the comment. Lg back to Bonn ✅️.

My comment came off kinda negative , it wasnt intended that way. Sorry bruder. Have you had an amateur fight?

You stand too tall and are off balance when you throw. You have no passive defenses in place when punching or kicking. You’re weaving way too low on those counter shots and telegraphing your kicks with your hands. You’re dropping your hands when you uppercut. Your check needs to be stronger. You’re falling into your cross. You’re loading your hook by dropping it rather than rotating your shoulders.

Nah it's fine. It's just a clip. I did load up on the punches there.

I did have 1 amy type of boxing match about 15 years ago and nothing else. I do spar over the years.

Mmm perhaps 😉. This was quite a few months ago. I think I've gotten sharper. I also got mechanics in sparring that make it make sense. I don't read a lot into training clips. I do got my style.

Thanks for commenting 👍🏻🤙

Nice! I only sparred in my time. I had like 20-30 fights working in nightclubs. Or just when drinking in nightclubs 😁 sometimes drinking and working at the same time 😇

Lol I never get into bar fights I prefer not to. Haven't clubbed in a decade though. You're probably phisically big. Are you a bio German ? If I'm gonna fight it's gotta sport. Well self defense is logical but I don't go out thinking I gotta fight someone. I mean in clubs everyone is drunk so it's a high chance.

Yeah the ducks were really akward, I didn't realise he wanted me to duck. Our first and only mits session. I can land kicks well I don't tell much but that's sparring. I do it different on a bag / kitta than going with a person. I do drop my hands quite a bit I don't got a strick guard I got movements and use my eyes to see how to react. Here I am falling into my cross cause padwork it's kinda of a long distance. Hope one day to be able to record some actual sparring rounds. So it doesn't sound like I'm talking myself out of everything. Yeah I loaded the hook here. Well perhaps some time I can record some sparring but it's a bit unlikely. People don't really film that in the gym. I mean you can if you got a buddy and I'm usually more to myself. Train go home. I also train at a regular fitness gym. I'm not even there this month, I'm away. Maybe in the future. But yeah the session was the opposite of flowing and clean. All good though.
