Hip Hop influence on Japanese culture.

I was wacthin some samurai champloo and wondered how much of a impact is hip hop on Japanese culture. Side note I was watching K-1 and a lot of kickboxers walked out to rap songs.

Japanese youngsters can be seen with afros and dreadlocks. Not super unusual. Some of the singers sound like they want to be black rappers or R&B singers.
