This very blatant lie could have devastating effects on Sanders' campaign as the accusation is already trending on Facebook and is being reported by major outlets. This was not directly propagated or substantiated by Hillary Clinton and I'm sure her campaign had nothing to do with it.

Las Vegas (CNN)Dolores Huerta, a civil rights leader and Hillary Clinton supporter, told CNN that when she tried to help translate at a casino caucus site Saturday, organizers from Bernie Sanders' campaign began shouting "English only."

CNN caught up with Huerta after Clinton's victory party.

"What happened is the person who was running the caucus said we need a translator and he said the first person that comes to the stage can be the translator, so I walked up to the front and then some of the organizers, the Bernie organizers, decided to shout 'no, no, no.' Then a Bernie person stood up and said, I can also do translation. So then the person running the caucus said we won't have a translator."

She added, "Then some of the organizers were shouting 'English only, English only.' This is bad."

Huerta clarified that exchange on Twitter.

"I offered to translate & Bernie supporters chanted English only! We fought too long & hard to be silenced," Huerta tweeted.

Aaaaaand then proven false by Snopes, complete with video and eyewitness testimony:

(See link below for Tweets and for multiple videos showing no such chants)

As Sarandon correctly stated, the segment in dispute started around the 53:30 mark, when parties called for a Spanish-language translator. As she indicated, at 55:18 the caucus moderator (not Sanders' supporters) simply stated that the inability to locate a neutral translator meant the caucus would continue in "English only." At no point did any Sanders supporters appear to have refused a translator based on the fact that translation was objectionable to them; nor was "English only" used in a pejorative fashion. The term was invoked a single time, during the moderator's assertion that no suitable translator was located to provide Spanish-language translations.

There's dishonesty in politics? I'm shocked. Do the people know about this? Someone better alert the media.

Honestly who cares. Bernie's younger voters are notorious dickbags as well, and I'm pulling for the guy against Hillary.

It doesn't surprise me one bit that after bernie beat hillary with Latinos in Nevada that the clinton campaign is worried.

3 states in, and bernie only has 1 more voting block to win over in the black community.

I have yet to hear a reason why Bernie won't be able to do this, as he has in every other demographic now.

So the Bernie supporters only obviously objected to her translating and then cheered when she was told by the organizer "English Only" as opposed to chanting "English Only" themselves? Same basic premise - they didn't want her to translate and then were happy when she was told she couldn't. Also who was the other fella in black who was on stage just before the guy with the mic said "We're only going to do this in english only"? Was he possibly a Sanders official who was objecting to the use of a translator or was spelling out the caucus rules of "english only" that Ms. Huerta would have been privy to but the mic and the camera didn't pick up?
