High level fighters who never look good

Really? The Black Beast? I was in the same boat after his first few wins in the UFC. But the fact that he's got the heaviest hands and enough ground game to survive when guys take him down sure looks good to me.
He looks like shit in his fights, he’s just really dangerous if he can connect.

If were going back as far as top 15, the vast majority of the HW division looks bad.

How is Derrick Lewis a top 5 fighter?

I think Shogun is still somehow ranked in the top 15, guy can barely move.

Which he's done 11 times a UFC HW record by the way. Elias Theodorou as someone else just mentioned is a perfect example, not the Black Beast.

Adesanya. Still don't buy into the hype. Still don't care how this offends sensitive folk.

TS said elite fighters who never look dominant. Benson fits the bill with only a few exceptions, one of which was beating the shit out of Nate which I mentioned.

Do you think Benson looked dominant against Frankie, Thompson, Giblert, Masvidal, the first fight against Cowboy, Patricio, or Picolotti?

Fuck off
Well he did look great in the second Cowboy fight

Eddie Alvarez on his way to the title. Lost to Cowboy and barely squeaked by Pettis and Melendez. He looked impressive against RDA and Gaethje but that's it.

Surely Lewis owns this. You constantly think he isn't that good and boom he wins again. He has no wrestling but just gets up like a man mountain so it doesn't matter. When he looks completely gassed still pulls the KO out.

Lewis rarely looks good until he wins.

I have always thought Jan Blachowicz would be a top level fighter in the UFC since his late KSW days. But his initial run in the UFC was frustrating. He did become the champ though.

I find that really weird. I watched tons of KSW and lots of his fights back then and I don't see how anyone could have expected him to be a top level fighter in the UFC. He's improved tons these last few years, but nothing back then seemed like he'd be a top level ufc fighter.

You haven’t even seen Edwards fight and you nominate him as the high level fighter who never looked good?

<DisgustingHHH>

Last time we saw Edwards he 50-45’d RDA.

I've yet to see a single highlight clip of him

It looks good because its an impressive feat and the one doing so is black beast ( a guy that is know for doing that his h9le carrer ) if a fighter who is not and doesn't fight like derrick lewis suddenly gives a derrick lewis type of performance no one would say that guy "looked good"

He KO'ed the undisputed #1 MW in 2 rounds to win the title. That alone should have convinced you.

Nick Diaz hasn't looked impressive in the last 9years...oh wait that's his last win

Brian Ortega and Yoel Romero could fit this because most of their wins are kind of comebacks after losing early. (Ortega changed this vs KZ). If we consider Lewis here as well that is.
